Laurel Greenberg

Laurel Greenberg is a career videographer and editor, having worked in television, corporate video and documentaries since 1984. She has produced and directed her own work which includes "No Vote, No Voice" a short film that aired on PBS's "The 90's, "To Hull and Back", a rockumentary satire that aired on WCVB-TV and cable access stations, "Something Missing", a music video about abortion rights that won awards at The Philadelphia Int'l Film Festival, The Chicago Int'l Film Festival and the Boston Phoenix  Music Video Awards, and "Cycles per Second", a film about bicycle messengers that screened at the Ann Arbor Super 8 Film Festival.  She is currently producing and directing a documentary about Election 2000 called Trouble in Paradise.

 

Laurel Greenberg grew up in Philadelphia, where she started making films as a teenager. After graduating from Brown University in 1980, she lived in New York City where she worked in theater, film, pizza delivery, and eventually as a cameraperson and audio engineer for Fox Television.  She has lived in Boston for 16 years, has produced and directed short films and videos, and works as a freelance videographer and editor.  She is a member of The Somerville producers Group, and Women in Film/Video New England.
